today my hiring manager told me some bitter sweet news. instead of my usual 14-30 hours a week i get given, he’ll put it up to 35 each week and a lot of that will be breakfast. i already feel so much anxiety working there so often but i need to keep reminding myself that by end of june i’ll be out of this house and on my own, therefore i need a steady income. and it is nice that they think i’m doing such a good job to get given this many hours for a part time casual, so i’m trying to keep a clear head of this even if i’m a bit freaked out.
